Airsoft is not considered as a sport, but it's an activity very similar to it. Paintballs are filled with paint, Airsoft pellets are much smaller and they don't leave any mark on players clothes. So the most important rule in Airsoft is NOT TO CHEAT. Nobody can see if you get hit by pellet or not, you should feel the impact so there's no excuse - you have to stand up, put you hand in the air and walk out of the combat zone. You're out of the game and you have to wait for the next round. You have to remember that it's a team game, so there's no place for individuals, Rambo's and immortal heros. Airsoft players are usually normal, friendly people and keep it that way.  Safety rules:

- Always wear eyes protection. If you don't have lot's of money it's better start with good quality gogles then with more expensive gun. You can't buy new eye when you lost one, so be sure that the're well protected.

- Never dring alcohol before the game. Games are usually on weekend, but you can party later, after the game, never during the game. When someone's drunk he's usually braver, forgets about protection and safety.

- When you're playing in riskfull areas like former factories, woods with lot's of holes and choped trees you should wear knee and elbow pads and high boots. This will decrease chance to damage your ancle or knees if you'll fall down. Some of players also wear helmets, you can never be sure if something will fall on your headin old building.

- You shuold also remeber that you're not alone in the forest, there are lots of ticks, spiders and other dangerous insects. Always check you body after game to be sure that you don't have one somwhere in your body because some of them may cause dangerous diseases.

When you get shot:

- You're eliminated from the game, when you get shot in any part of the body. There are no "soft wounds" that will not eliminate you from the game.

- When you're shot you can't speak and inform other players about situation on the combat zone.

- When you get shot and you will keep playing, you'll be considered as a cheater. You'll probably get banned from the game. There's no place for cheaters in Airsoft.

-  You can't fire your gun, when you get shot -  shooting back  is also a cheating.

- When you're out of ammo or you gun won't shoot you're not threated as eliminated, you can borrow some ammo from friends or try to repair your gun during the game.

Other types of guns and pyrotechnics:

- You can always have weapons like knife, but only as an element of soldiers equipments. Never take it in your hand while playing, to ensure safety of yours and other players.

- Smoke screens and firecrackers are not allowed in woods. You can use then only at safe places, when other players agree.
