Yes it could have There was no way that the germans could have invaded the UK and with the US and the brits using the British Airfields to bomb germany they could have possibly won the war

If Russia a fallen in 41 or 42 could the bomber offensive against the Reich have taken place as it did? Dwight It certainly would have been much more difficult and expensive. A major proportion of Luftwaffe strength was tied up on the Eastern Front. Of course, the arrival of the atomic bomb would have changed things considerably. A question that one must ask. however, is whether Britain would gave continued in the war. Once Germany had clear dominance of Europe, Churchill's position might have become politically unsustainable. When Japan attacked, they might have sought a truce with Germany to try to preserve resources to defend their empire in Asia. Along this line, one big unknown is the attitude of Germany towards Japan. Despite formal treaties and declarations of unity, they were quite suspicious of each other., That might have made Hitler more accommodating towards Britain.

If Russia a fallen in 41 or 42 could the bomber offensive against the Reich have taken place as it did? Dwight Sure, why not? The Germans would have been able to deploy more ack-ack against the Allied bombers, and perhaps more fighters, but not significantly more since most of their production went to that purpose anyhow. Where the bombing offensive would have done any good is another question. It failed of its purpose of causing Germany to collapse; its great achievement was the destruction of the German fighter force, which alone made the Normandy landing possible. If the Germans hadn't had the bulk of their army fighting on the eastern front, I doubt that Normandy would have been a success

Yes it could have There was no way that the germans could have invaded the UK and with the US and the brits using the British Airfields to bomb germany they could have possibly won the war Not a chance until the A-bomb is ready. I think the Western Allies did a great job from June 1944 on in finishing off the Third Reich. However, the majority of the Wehrmacht was on the Eastern Front and suffered massive losses there. Assuming that Allied and German casualties were on a 1:1 ratio then the western Allies could not have sustained the casualties necessary to defeat Germany. Until the A-bomb arrived the Allies would be hard pressed to do as well against Germany from the air. The Luftwaffe could have redeployed all its fighter force in the west and devastated the bomber forces which took an awful beating anyway. The best the western allies could hope for if the USSR fell was to keep North Africa. The Royal Navy could have minimized supplies to the NA which was what decided the campaign for the most part anyway. An invasion of Italy would have been thwarted and a French invasion suicidal. What you end up with is a stalemate in which the allies control the Atlantic and perhaps NA and the Germans have all of Europe.
