After  Jesus  left  the  earth  a  hundred  and  twenty  waited in  Jerusalem  for  their  master  to  send   holy  spirit  as  a helper  for  them  to   guide  you  into  all  the  truth.  (John 16:13)   That  truth  was  gradually  revealed  by  the  body of  believers.   Individual  members  of  Christ's  body,  and even  the  governing  body  that  was  established  in  Jerusa- lem,  even  the  remaining  apostles,  made  mistakes  in  the views  they  held.    The  Governing  body  in  Jerusalem  at  first  had  a  hard time  in  accepting  that  parts  of  the  law  covenant  was  to be  done  away  with-  like  circumcision.  (Acts  15:1,2) And  the  apostles  and  the  older  men  gathered  together to  see  about  this  affair.   Now  when  much  disputing  had taken  place,  Peter  rose  up...                       (Acts 15:6-10) A  decision  was  finally  reached  and  sent  to  the  congre- gations.  (Acts  15:23-29)    Paul  made  this  comment  at  Galations 2:1  etc:   Then after  fourteen  years  I  again  went  up  to  Jerusalem  with Barnabas,  taking  also  Titus...  before  those  who  were outstanding  men...   James  and  Cephas  (Peter)  and  John, the  ones  who  seemed  to  be  pillars,  gave  me  and Barnabas  the  right  hand  of  sharing  together,  that  we should  go  to  the  nations,  but  they  to  those  circumcised. Only  we  should  keep  the  poor  in  mind.   This  very  thing I  have  also  earnestly  endeavored  to  do. (Gal. 2:1-3,9,10)     However,  when  Cephas  came  to  Antioch,  I  resisted him  face  to  face,  because  he  stood  condemned.  For before  the  arrival  of  certain  men  from  James,  he  used to  eat  with  people  of  the  nations;  but  when  they  arrived he  went  withdrawing  and  separating  himself,  in  fear of  those  of  the  circumcised  class.   The  rest  of  the Jews  also  joined  him  in  putting  on  this  pretense,  so that  even  Barnabas  was  led  along  with  them  in their  pretense.   But  when  I  saw  they  were  not  walking straight  according  to  the  truth  of  the  good  news,  I said  to  Cephas  before  them  all:  'If  you  though  you are  a  Jew,  live  as  the  nations  do,  and  not  as  Jews do,  how  is  it  that  you  are  compelling  people  of  the nations  to  live  according  to  Jewish  practices?                                                       (Galatians 2:11-14 ___________________________________________    Other  examples  could  be  given  that  there  was  a continual  refining  and  a  growing  in  spirituality  and teaching;   But,  I  dont  want  to  get  to  far  off  dates and  thinking  the  end  was  near.    The  disciples  thought  that  Christ  was  bringing  the end  of  the   old  world  system  of  things  in  the  first century.     When,  now,  they  had  assembled,  they  went  asking him:   'Lord,  are  you  restoring  the  kingdom  to  Israel at  this  time?'   He  said  to  them:  'It  does  not  belong  to you  to  get  knowledge  of  the  times  or  seasons  which the  Father  has  placed  in  his  own  jurisdiction;   but  you will  receive  power  when  the  holy  spirit  arrives  upon you,  and  you  will  be  witnesses  of  me  both  in  Jerus- alem  and  in  all  Judea  and  Samaria  and  to  the  most distant  part  of  the  earth.                             (Acts 1:6-8)    Many  fell  away  from  the   truth  because  the  end took  to  long  to  come.   Time  kept  going  on  and  on. These  are  the  ones,  from  then,  till  now  that  say: 'My  master  delays  coming  and  beats  the  servants and  goes  back  to  eating  and  drinking  and  the cares  of  life
