This may have been the most devasting single raid ever carried out by aircraft in any war including the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. </quote The bonmbng campaign against the Germans and the Japs was the best application of the available technology to gain legitimate war aims. Assumed necessity creates *very weak* moral justification for killing civilians in 5 digit ranges. I disagree.
