Press release article on Avault: *************************************************************************** ******* Hearts of Iron Announced Strategy First and Paradox Entertainment announced on Friday they will be publishing Hearts of Iron, a real-time W.W.II strategy game, this fall. Hearts of Iron encompasses a grand strategic scope: The game map spans the entire world, including all nations between 1936 - 1946. P_layer_s can take the war to any new front while focusing on the struggle between the alliances of Fascism, Communism and Democracy. P_layer_s are able to modify and construct their own settings and campaigns with the game’s scenario generator, which offers thousands of combinations. Developed by the same team behind the Europa Universalis series, Paradox says Hearts of Iron features an advanced research model that allows p_layer_s to acquire more powerful weapons through the course of the war; a unique political system that includes historical generals and political leaders that has a direct effect on neutral nations; over 100 different ground, air and naval forces; and multip_layer_ over the Internet. *************************************************************************** ******** Ok, hopefully, this won't degenerate into whether this is a wargame or a nationbuliding game like EU

Nevertheless, this does look good. Paradox is the same developer that did EU/EU2 which are pretty good in my book. Looks like they are sticking with the grand strategic type game which they seem to be pretty good at. I'm hopeful at least. Grifman
