Primarily on-bike, plus maybe a short walk here and there. I usually keep a pair of regular shoes at work, and change into them when I come to work. I suppose I can carry a pair of shoes in my tailbag and just change whenever I arrive wherever it is I'm going. Then, let me suggest SIDI Strada's. I have put 4,000 miles on my pair since I got them in the Spring. I love them. They are totally waterproof, as evidenced by getting caught in many rainstorms! They are also quite comfortable to walk in when you are off the bike. At $200 a pair, I try to use them only when I have the bike and not as a daily boot. I have worn them to work after riding in and they cover under pants very well. I recommended them to my friend that commutes to work. He wears them on the 40 mi. 1 way trip and then wears them all day long at work as a cop. He is very pleased and has logged a ton of miles with them. I noticed that the price of a SIDI boot is the same in the local Stealer's shop as they are online, so maybe their price is fixed? Good luck! Wally 85 Sabre V65
