airsoft gas pistols Ever consider playing airsoft instead of paintball???

Have you ever considered the sport of Airsoft? Airsoft is one of the most realistic and fun sports, not to mention cheap! The automatics go for about $200-$300, and are battery-powered or gas-operated. Compare that to the $600-$1,000 automatic paintball guns. For $600, you can get a light-machine gun M60 airsoft gun. The batteries can last a full day when fully charged. There are gas blowback handguns/submachine guns that can use PC duster or airbrush propellant as gas besides specialized airsoft gas gun propellant, and can last a few months. They are just like real guns, and the slide of the gun blows back on each shot. These gas guns cost around $90-$200. Then there are spring guns: these are the cheapest airsoft gun. They are single shot, and have to be cocked for each shot. Most of the sniper rifles in airsoft are spring rifle, and can fire around 80 meters when upgraded. These are usually cheap, except for the sniper rifles, which go for around $100-$900. The spring pistols, shotguns (yes, shotguns, which fire more than one shot with each trigger pull!!!) and rifles go for about $20-$150. 99% of all airsoft guns use magazines (clips) for reloading, making it the most realistic combat simulation ever. ALL airsoft guns use 6MM pellets. These are very cheap pellets, which can be bought for about $15 per $5,000. It is a LOT cheaper: a normal session of airsoft when you have a gun and equipment would be this: Rental of a field: $5-$10 BBs: 10,000 for $25-$30 Now, compare that to paintball: Rental of your field: $5-$10 Paintballs: 600 for $25-$30 Now, I am not asking you to convert from paintball to airsoft: just buy a good gun or two, maybe a full automatic (for $200, you can get a good full-auto MP-5, compared to a semi-auto Tippmann for around the same price) or a good gas gun. If you are further interested in this sport, check out http://www.airsoftguns.com or http://www.airsoftzone.com. If you want to look at the prices, check out http://www.redwolfairsoft.com or http://www.dentrinity.com Please consider airsoft, as it is a cost effective solution to paintball, and just as fun, if not more so. I used to play paintball, but as soon as I was introduced to airsoft and it's realism, I was converted. Unlike in paintball, where most people are interested in getting the fastest firing gun and the main tactic is spray and pray , real tactics must be used in airsoft, as shooting full automatic can expend your magazine in a few seconds. These airsoft guns are used for training by law-enforcement, due to the realism, and they are used in movies as props! It has a much more combat themed experience, and since the pellets barely hurt you (a 300 fps paintball is equivalent to a 1000 fps 6MM airsoft pellet, but the common FPS limit for CQB airsofts is 300 fps, so it barely hurts, and sniper rifles go up to 500 fps), it can be pretty much used by all ages, although due to the realism of the guns, it is reccomended that you are 18. Please consider it. Thank you. Travis Ward
