tokyo marui ak47 GUN: AK-47 plans
Hi! The topic is as much military as all the others about war planes. I'd like to build NONFIRIN, NONFUNCTIONIG 1/1 scale replica of a Zastava M-70AB/2 machine gun I used to take care for in the army. Since I know there may be no Zastava plans, the most resembland gun is standard AK-47. Since M-70 is an improved gun, and I know the differences well (we learned of all AK-47 clones used in army to fulfill the lack of M-70) and there are not so many visual, except the tromblon set and a special magazine and of course three cooling holes in front grip. So are there any plans&prints free to download? Many thanks, Bostjan

My other hobby is airsoft and Tokyo Marui makes an electric AK-47 and AK-47S that fire 6mm plastic pellets in semi-or automatic fire. The gun looks very realisitic, but the cost is high, around $250 from Hong Kong.... These are meant for playing airsoft, so I don't know if you want one. Don't know of any nonfiring models either. Juho Bostjan, Where in the world are you? I thought that the UK had pretty tough rulings on guns etc. but not even owning a model that resembles a military item? What really got me when looking for a AK, was that the price over here for a model was roughly the same as you'd get a real one for in the States! Eventually I got a Chinese AK-74 (can't remember maker!) that fires the old 6mm plastic balls - single shot. Pretty true to the original once I'd airbrushed over the black plastic. The model cost £55 and it is ready assembled. My father purchased a self-assemble model of the stubbed nose colt(?) for approximatley the same price (another thing, over here you it is VERY difficult to find a build your own AK - but every version of the M-16 is available.......) Looking at it I got the better deal...... Have FUN! Dave

Well, i think a model would not be a problem, but an airgun would be. I'd love to have one, I'm studying the particular law to find a hole in my case.. Well I do have a 6mm plastic balls Beretta M.92 (single shot), I've bought a few years ago. But the main problem remains for all imported stuff in Slovenia - the market is too small so is the offer. Ordering such a gun from the importer would cost more than buying one from the net, but there is still the customs problem and I might get police on the door asking about the gun even if it's a model. Don't get me wrong, we are not a police country, we never were and the guns law is more liberal than before, but there are still some things unclear and the police is too nosy. Otherwise I own very much rusted WWI Manlicher that needs a new barrel and rifle butt. I can produce the ammo by myself since I have the knowledge and technology (chemist freak), but I don't even intend to. My primary goal is to have a replica on the wall. I do know for a certain M-70AB2 with bended barrel from 1991 when a JNA storage went up in flames during the war, but the guy is asking too much for it. I produced the general side view and I can reproduce the most detail but I'd nee at least a top view for some dimensions. I have a magazine or two I picked up when JNA left Slovenia and dumped some stuff near barracs. Bostjan Bostjan, Where in the world are you?
