I just went through the recent inverview with good ole Wes http://www.gamersdepot.com/interviews/nova_logic/land_warrior/004.htm  and came across the fact that there was no listing of the M4/M203 combo. They only mention the (let's be honest: utterly useless) M4/Masterkey. If I don't want the OICW I'd be stuck with the (gasp. retch.) Steir AUG w/ Gren launcher. I mean I'm not a total sucker for aesthetics, but running around with some austrian crackhead's late night drawing-board musings is a little more than I can stomach. Ever since they put that - gulp - Thing in 'Counterstrike' every 12-year-old and his brother is hollering about what a kewl gun that is and how it totally rocks and how every martian-home-invasion spaceship-shoot-em-up run-and-jump game should have a Steir AUG. No AK-74, no AKM, no M4/M203, no SIG (hehehe, okay), no M16 (well, why the AK-47 then?), no G36, no nothing. Gives us the wonderful choice between the futuristically speculative (OICW), the never-got-far-past-the-drawing-board (G11), the terminally ugly (AUG) and the hopelessly outdated (AK-47). Great. Buy you a beer, Wes. I could always go back to the M4/Masterkey, like in the old days when I was trying to prove to myself that it in fact *was* a badass weapon in DF2, once you got the hang of it. Yeah, right. Well, I'm sure there will be mods to take care of that. Oh no wait, this is the Delta Forces series.

Don't really need the M4. I believe the better than equivalent will be the OICW. Seems to be anyway. As for the useless master key. Maybe it will be more useful in LW. Should just ditch the M4 all together. Don't get me wrong, I love the M4, but with all the weapon combos, it's going to be nutso trying to toggle through all of them. Incidentally, since I put the 64megger Geforce in, LW seems to run well in 1024 mode. No drag/lag at all.....

Like you I got nowhere fast.    The only good use I can see for the Masterkey in DF is for an M4 p_layer_ who doesn't like to knife fight.  I'm sure the shotgun would be pretty effective bringing down an oncoming knifer.
