Hello I recently upgraded my server from 6.5.4 w/Sendmail 8.8.8 to 6.5.12 w/Sendmail 8.9.3 The reason is that I had an open-relay that I needed to close.  Other than that, it was my only reason to get a later version of the IRIX OS. Everything worked smoothly. I had the standard domain CW listings in the sendmail.cf in the older version. Cw a.com b.com c.com ......... ............ ............. Cw g.com h.com i.com ........... .............. ............. Cw and so on and so on .............. ................. ................. ................. For the I set up in the following way: /etc/mail/RelayTo a.com b.com c.com /etc/mail/LocalIP xx.xxx.xx 127.0.0.1 /etc/mail/LocalNames a.com b.com c.com /etc/mail/relay-domains a.com b.com c.com /etc/mail/access a.com b.com c.com /etc/sendmail.cw cwns1.a.com cwns1.b.com cwns1.c.com                    {not sure you combine the FQDM cw ns1.a.com                      with the cw or put a space cw ns1.b.com                     between the cw and FQDM} cw ns1.c.com                    (FQDM= servername.domain.com) There is so much added to the configuration of the newer sendmail.  All I need is my server to have a closed-relay (from outsiders) and the ability to have all my domains (35) and associated Users send and receive email via their respective domains. Does any of you have any pointers in getting this accomplished? Or in the alternative, can you point me to a document which shows you where in the configuration or other files (.mc) changes should be made? I have read 40-page README that came with IRIX. - Still confused. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Ken Browne
