question on air guns shooting range ...  would we be allowed to use 6mm bb riffles that fire the 6mm plastic bb that is normally used for air soft war game's these are less powerful than the air riffles that fire the lead pellet  ... the bb riffle accurate at short distant but   not as accurate at long distance though and so much safer than 22 lead pellet guns  the bb would still sting if someone was to get hit but unless you have the muzzle next to your skin it will not brake the skin ....un like the lead pellet guns..... ( considering the bb guns  was designed to shoot at each other in war games ..)  the bb guns are similar to the ones that the kids get get from the cheep shops  but with a difference 1. the fire at aprox 300 fps at aprox 3lb  psi           ( 22 lead pellet guns fir at 12lb psi and the cheep ones are at aprox  30 fps  1 psi ..or less ) 2. they look realistic   ( so much so that they are now used as film props ...... this is the one reason that they might not be allowed ) 3. they cost aprox £100 + each ( about the same as 22 lead pellet guns  ....the cheep  kids ones cost a lot less £5 upto £30 but do not last long   ) ive got  the instructor certif. ..etc  but every one iv spoke to just says  they don't know as its a grey point ...and if i find out  to let them know ....  any ideas.. or insights ...
