Just thought you guys might like to know... I attempted to order a couple of airsoft guns (you know - those things with the bright orange muzzles that shoot plastic pellets at about 250 fps...) from a US supplier yesterday. This morning, I received the following. We are sorry, but we cannot process your order.  Due to the current heightened security messures after 9/11, any airsoft guns shipped out of the country are subject to confiscation.  Your order has been canceled; sorry for any inconvenience. I attempted to order the guns from a toy shop. While I don't blame the toy shop (hey - they saved me the cost of having the things confiscated...) I am mightily ticked off by this! Forgive me for asking a potentially stupid question, but how exactly does *exporting airsoft guns* lead to a national security threat??? I give up trying to understand this stuff...
