Hello Folks, Well I got to see first hand panic last Friday as folks flocked to the surplus store to buy gas masks. Or anything for that matter. Why yes sir you do need four extra pairs of Russian Camo BDU's...... A GP Medium? Of course. How much do you want to spend? (and do you have the local high school football team at the ready to erect that sucker....?) I was there to buy some boot polish and lawd lawd but the sheeples was scared. Of course the nearest surplus store here in this area should be closed due to price gouging on a daily basis but it was worse Friday. Is this a great country or what? The owner who knows me well said he'd give me a 20% discount, (on boot polish?) if I would help a lady look for something while he stuffed his pockets with filthy lucre from people buying gas masks that date back to Kaiser Bill. No that rubber is not cracked................ The lady in question wanted something, but she did not know what, but she wanted something to survive. I told her the best survival was to get out of the store and go to Wally World for a backpack and some simple gear and food. Then to the beer store as I would be by to check out her gear. Survival gear of course. You know what? She did give me her address. Bleeeet. Bleet. Either way. Some folks have returned today to try and get their money back since nothing happened on the weekend and well by golly it probably won't then. Bleet, Bleet. Deke
