I've had a bunch of different boots - Hi Techs, jungle boots etc etc. My favorite pair (regardless of where they're authorized to wear) are my desert boots. They're the most comfortable boots I've ever had (and pretty worn out by now. Gotta order a new pair). Second to them would be my jungle boots. Don't waste your money on a super-duper cool looking pair of boots - go with something that's comfy AND functional. Excuse me for the stupid question, but what's the difference between desert and jungle boots? Desert boots are made of leather and jungle boots from rubber? Jarno, The desert boots are the famous Schwartzkopf boots from Desert Storm. They are made of a suade like leather with a beige condura side. They also have a wicking material inside. There's also no drainage vents on the desert boots... Yes, they are pretty nice, but as a 10th MTN (LI) 11B, REALLY like the Rocky Matterhorns... the Matterhorns were my favorite boot! -Tom (24 Hour take home test today! YE HAH!) Sent via Deja.com
