i like to read before i go to sleep every nite and use a small flashlite so as not to wake anyone up. i have tried a # of different flashlites. usually they stop functioning prematurely. i am interested in purchasing one of those armed forces flashlights, the green ones that look like a 7 or conversely an L. so...does anyone know where i could get one? thanks!

Have you tried Canadian Tire? Another item I would look at if I was looking for a battery powered reading light, would be one of the small booklights.
