Okay I was resisting the temptation to join in on this look at my bruises thread, but I canna tak it no more. I was at PB last weekend, first time in ages. Damn I forgot how painfull that was, those headshots are very sore. One knocked me clean off my feet as I was running for a barracade to shelter behind. I had to crawl the last few metres moaning like a kid. The best bit was at the end, last game was 4 of us defending a wooden two level fort with the other team 8 strong trying to get in. By this point they were all aware of the pain situation and reluctant to try and storm as they were easily picked off - and we had a heap of ammo left. Then, through the timber gaps, I spotted one foolhardy sole running full pelt for the fort entrance below me, I could not believe my luck. I must have let off around 50 pellets, with about a dozen hitting that foo square on the chest and hands. Back at _base_ I obviously enquired who that brave person was - turns out it was Skins wife! Her knuckles were so bruised and swollen they had merged into one big long knuckle with blood seeping along the cracks. When Skin saw the state she was in he was like who the hell did that to you [Skin is big - see his members page]. She told him it was me and he just laughed, her face was tripping her. I'd definatley go and buy them a pint or two for that!!!!!!!!   What I don't understand is why a lot of R6, DF, and CS p_layer_s don't go out and play paintball too? PC games, specially simulations, are awesome. But I'd also think that it would be the next logical step, just like car racing sim nuts would want to go and race cars. Plus, it would be great to get off that damn chair, get out in the open air, get some physical exercise and play it for real (PAINTBALL, not hurting someone for real!!!!). It HAS become the 4th largest Extreme Sport in the world now. Sure would be nice to give it more recognition too if someday it might even become an added Olympic competition as well . . . . And think too, all that TEAM-WORK that we learn in R6, could be put to awesome use in PB! We'd dominate other groups that don't know the basics of working together or having a plan! So that too, is why I keep asking for fellow R6 p_layer_s to come out and join me

Not everybody has paintball areas in their area, I've got quite a drive to get to the closest one. It's also quite expencive (at least in Norway), so the only way for it to be economical would be to purchase the equipment instead of renting it, and playing on a regular basis. I would do just that, but there's hardly any paintball p_layer_s around here : Daywanderer
